We were established in 1984, and have been successfully breeding traditional and rare breed chickens.

We are situated at a beautiful location near Matlock, in Derbyshire’s Peak District, and are in the process of expanding our business into shed, run and coop building and supply, as well as developing our rare breed stock and egg production.

All our birds are bred in a family atmosphere, and are very much a part of the family – Under supervision they roam the garden, and occasionally the house, but spend the large part of their day within large outdoor pens, where they can forage to their hearts content safe from foxes!

We are suppliers of birds, of eggs for your own incubation, of day old chicks; whether you want an interesting and unusual pet, a few hens at the bottom of the garden to supply you with eggs, or are keen on traditional breeds of poultry for breeding or show purposes.  We also supply sheds, coops and runs, feed, care products, etc.
